As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations to support our work:
Ongoing Curriculum Development - we continually expand our modules with new lessons about the complex modern food system.
Snackz and Seedz - to complement our curriculum we strive provide classrooms with stipends for healthy snacks and materials.
Farmers Market Farewell - we help teachers buy garden supplies, nutritious foods, and fresh produce for the end-of-year celebration.
Parent Nutrition Workshop - we offer nutrition workshops for Green Beetz parents led by a registered dietitian.
Professional Development - we provide teachers with topical Professional Development opportunities throughout the year.
Becoming a monthly donor is the most sustainable way to support our programming. Monthly donations provide support for our work all year long, and allow us to set more ambitious, long term goals. Thank you for making our work possible.
GREEN BEETZ DAY - Our Annual Fundraising Event
Our annual marquee fundraiser held in the Hamptons has helped sustain our organization financially since the beginning.
The event is a unique, home-spun day packed with family-friendly activities, aligned with the Green Beetz brand of education, health, and sustainability! Think organic tie-dye, jalapeño tasting challenge, pie throwing, home-made dumpling making, live turtle and tortoise show-case, beeswax candle making and honey-bee hive demos, a delicious plant-based lunch and so much more!
